The whole family traveled to a basketball tournament last weekend. A good time was had by all.
While we were gone there were extremely strong winds at the Homestead. Stuff was blown all over creation, including a big tree that was on the front corner of our property. The only problem with this is that it fell right onto a row of spruce trees we have planted on the border of the property. Yesterday while the weather was nice, it was sunny and 40, I grabbed the chainsaw and cut the tree into pieces and moved it away from the spruces. We will have to wait and see if they make it, but I’ll probably have to add some more trees there again this year.
After the beautiful weather yesterday we are getting pounded with snow today. We’ve probably gotten 6-7″ of snow already with more on the way. It will be back up in the 40’s this weekend so a wet mess is on the menu.
On another note, the primary camera on my phone won’t focus so picture taking is difficult. No one wants to see a bunch of selfies of me with stuff in the background. Hopefully I can find time to get to the Apple Store soon.
